A RED HOT First 2015 Chengdu S.W Elite Racing Festival
The 2015 1st Chengdu Racing Festival was on 30-31/5/2015 weekend, and due to the late start in the season, all the 2/4 Wheels racing teams and Drivers were more then eager to participate into this round of Racing.
With BG’s non-stop promoting of the Super Bike racing in the Greater China region of Hong Kong, Macau and China, the number of attendance has grown from year to year and at last weekend’s race, there was a 26 SBK bike entry with teams coming from as far as Beijing, Guangdong making up the good mixture of a real multi-regional racing. On the Car racing front, over 100 cars of various classes entered the races with, again, teams from Chongqing, Yunnan, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong.
The SBK entry see the newly entered Chengdu base team but with X-HK Pro rider Cheung Wei On on the saddle, and with his more Pro level as compared to the still more amateur level of these other races, Cheung took the win without any threat from others, but the rest of the field was showing some great improved racing level and despite a couple of crashes with minor injuries, the 2015 Chengdu S.W. Elite Racing Festival was a great success with the number of spectators, teams, drivers and Riders and especially on Press reports and the number of Sponsors.
There were 9 classes of various racing with Super Car I/II, 2600cc I/II, 1600cc I/II, SBK 1000, SBK 600, Local Elite SBK classes. The Chengdu S.W. Elite Racing Festivals has now, attracted bigger and bigger number of entry level 2/4 wheel racers as this is the only National level race track in the Huge China' S.W. region covering 5 provinces so everyone was expecting a much increased level of racing in the next rounds in the 2015 season.
On Sunday, a visit by the V. Chairman of the China Motorsport Federation, Mr. H.P. Wan, A detail chat with BG to understand the Current China SBK racing and the further development of the Sport in the near future, this has shown great encouragement hopefully will results in a much higher level sport and more support from the Gov't.
BG's Steven with our visiting BG Italy Partner Raimondo take the opportunities to visit all the 2/4 wheels racing Teams, High level 2/4 Wheels tuning shops in the Chengdu and Chongqing region during this trip to Chengdu, we'd introduced all our 2/4 Wheels high performance products especially to Demo the TEXA 2/4 wheels vehicle Diagnostic Computer as hardly any Teams or Tuning shops has access to these high level Tuning and Diagnostic equipment and tools and these visits has been a great success with close to all people starting a close working relationship with BG.
The BG team will go from Chongqing on Tue to Beijing as that will be the 1st Round of the Beijing Northern Elite Racing Festival that BG is also the SBK organizer and promoter of the event.
The 2015 season promised to be, most probably, the best season for all Motorsport events and we're all looking forward for more support from our Press/Media friend and Event Sponsors.
